You are one of my all time favorites in illustration, practically the 1st who made convincing 3d women (good looking too!
I really wanted to comment on the "uru" character you made, but the thread seems closed. So im taking the freedom to post a comment here. (hope you don´t mind)
Uru character: The girl is awesome, but as you asked for suggestions/comments on the background; this is my main gripe about it: Its not in the same style as the girl.
All the pictures i have seen of this kind, tend to follow the same style on the background. The way its now, it almost creates a feeling of her not belonging in the picture.
I would love to se a version of her with an outlined background, and if it helps the picture.
I don't know which I like better, your concepts or your execution. But I definitely feel like your work benefits from atmosphere and mood (but then again what work Doesn’t benefit from a strong undertone).
Anyway I meant to add a suggestion to your Hardboiled Furry world pic, but it seems the comment forum for it’s closed. I wanted to suggest playing with their lips a bit more, getting a ‘cat’s smile’ in there might make it even more suggestive or showing a bulge for the fangs… It might come in handy for a sequel. Keep up the great work, keep it wild.
Steven, vos travaux sortent vraiment de l'ordinaire.
reellement sensuels.
Quand on regarde vos anciens travaux, c'est encourageant pour des gens comme moi qui tentent d'arriver à votre niveau.: votre progression est époustouflante. ^^
your work inspires me to do a series on Philippine myths and folklore about monsters and enchanted creatures. hope you see my portfolio which is coming soon.
The Fairy and Snake is a true masterpiece. I remember last year when I was walking in a bookstore I stopped by the CG section just because I saw your work on the cover of Expose book (unfortunately I wasn't really interested in CG back then and the book was quite expensive so I couldn't buy).
Last week when I visited CGtalk, I saw your work again, and along with some other masterpieces, your work has motivated me to learn 3D and CG.
Thanks for making such a beautiful art
