Just for fun, plan to animate it some day. Two guys have been friends for decades. They spend more time together in the pub than anywhere else. I tried to evoke a typical British feeling allround. Crits welcome, especially - as I'm not a brit myself - on how to increase the 'local color' factor.

Modeled in Maya, rendered in Mental Ray, some Mudbox sculpting for displacement maps. Mia shader used for glass, beer, table, wall. Misss_fast used for skin. The hair is Fur. There's an hdri, a couple area lights and a couple spotlights.
